Former Kotoko coach Michael Osei reveals Ashgold talks

Former Asante Kotoko trainer Michael Osei has confirmed he is in talks with struggling AshantiGold to take over as head coach.

Ashgold are in the market searching for a substantive coach following the departure of Bashir Hayford.

And according to Osei plans are far advanced for him to be named as the Miner’s next coach.

“Something like that is going on but it’s yet to be concluded but we have held advanced talks”

“There are other clubs but I am waiting for an official communique from the club then I will take a decision” Osei told Starr Sports.

Osei, should he be given the job, must guide the former league champions from being relegated. They currently sit second from bottom ahead of next game against Hearts of Oak.
