Ghana striker Eric Bekoe has been lined with a shocking move to Hearts of Oak.

Media reports in Ghana suggests the former Asante Kotoko goal poacher is in subtle talks to join the Phobians.

Bekoe is a free agent following his departure from Berekum Chelsea earlier this year after the expiration of his contract.

The 27-year-old has made a full recovery from a horrific broken leg injury and has been training on his own to keep up his fitness.

Hearts on the other hand are looking to sign a striker to boost their forward line ahead of the start of the new season.

The experience of the former Petrojet man could prove beneficial for Herbert Addo’s side in the coming season.

Bekoe’s status as a free agent also makes him an attractive preposition for the Phobians as there is no transfer amount involved since he is unattached.

But the player’s fitness record remains a concern.
