Ghana international defender Francis Dickoh is yearning for a recall into the national team following stellar displays for his Scottish side Hibernian.

The 27-year-old Danish-born centre-back has not played for the Black Stars since 2008 but has been a major hit since he arrived at Hibernian at the beginning of the season from Utrecht on a one year loan.

With 13 caps, Dickoh claims to have put his international career on hold to in order get his club career on track.

But now says he is keen to represent the Black Stars again and says that his time at Hibernian has revitalized him.

He told Hibernian TV: "There were two international earlier on in the season and I said I will rather focus on Hibernian having just come here’.

"I feel ready now, I feel settled here and I have more energy. So I hope to be back in the squad because it is time that I’ve always enjoyed; hopefully that will be really soon.

Dickoh played full throttle for Hibs in their goalless draw game with St Johnstone over the weekend.

Hibernian lie 8th on the league table.
