Ghanaian striker Frank Acheampong scored twice for Buriram United who defeated Chainat 3-0 in the Thai Premier League on Saturday at the New I-Mobile Stadium.

The former Berekum Chelsea talented midfielder in the 30th and 82nd minute marks as his club cruised to an emphatic triumph with ten men.

Acheampong, a former Ghana Under-20 winger, raced into the box to connect home a low cross from a team-mate to double Buriram's advantage.

Chainat warmed themselves into the game and tried to at least pull a goal back but Acheampong dashed their remaining hopes with eight minutes left to go.

The 19-year-old then latched onto a long range pass from a team-mate to round up the goalkeeper before slotting into the empty net.

Buriram occupy third position with 21 points from nine games.
