Vice Chairman of the Black Satellites Management Committee Frank Nelson remains optimistic of a win over Ethiopia despite losing the first leg in Adis Ababa.

According to the Hearts of Oak Board member, the climatic condition in Ethiopia caused the defeat and that the U20 side will be victorious in the second leg.

“The boys did very well in that weather condition. I have stayed in Ethiopia before and I know how their climate is.

“If you want to acclimatize, then you need to be there either a week or more. You can’t acclimatize in three days.

“So the boys did well and I believe we shall win the second leg in Cape Coast,” Frank Nelson said.

Ghana lost 2-1 to the Ethiopians and will have to beat them in Cape Coast to secure qualification to the next stage of the qualifiers.
