Hearts of Oak defender Richard Akrofi says coach Frank Nuttall's strong approach to discipline makes the team tough to beat.

The English gaffer has guided the Phobians to the semifinals round of the MTN FA Cup after pipping second-tier side Danbort FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday via Vincent Atinga's second half penalty strike.

The Phobians are also in the hunt to clinch the Ghana Premier League title as they sit 3rd on the standings with 39 points after 24 matches.

And Akrofi has attributed their impressive form in the campaign to the astuteness of coach Frank Nuttall and credited him for changing their attitudes toward matches.

"Coach Nuttall understands things quickly and we are trying to improve in all aspects of our game. It's crucial that we are more positive and have a different mentality at every stage of the game. He has been able to send positive values to the team. We are changing our attitudes."

"With him, distractions are not allowed because the focus is on the game, the approach and how to stay though for the entire 90 minutes."

Hearts will travel to the Baba Yara Sports Stadium to play Asante Kotoko in an outstanding fixture of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
