Flying high in second place and unbeaten in 10 Bundesliga games, Schalke head to Eintracht Frankfurt looking to end a memorable Hinrunde on a high on Saturday (kick-off: 15:30 CET/14:30 GMT).

Latest

Frankfurt coach Niko Kovac is likely to ring the changes, despite a hard-fought 2-1 win in Hamburg in midweek. Jetro Willems should return at left wing-back in place of Taleb Tawatha, while Kevin-Prince Boateng is also expected to get the nod in central midfield. David Abraham has overcome severe bruising to be fit for the visit of the Royal Blues, while further forward Luka Jovic is in line for his second start of the season.

Following a 3-2 win against Augsburg on Matchday 16, Schalke coach Domenico Tedesco is not expected to tinker to excess for the trip south. After his fine goal in that victory, Franco Di Santo looks to have edged ahead of Yevhen Konoplyanka in the race to start up top in support of Guido Burgstaller. With Leon Goretzka and Nabil Bentaleb still out, Weston McKennie will continue alongside Max Meyer in midfield.
