Striker Edward Affum is on the radar of local giant Hearts of Oak after he was granted floating status, GHANAsoccernet.com has gathered.
Affum failed to establish himself at Asante Kotoko after joining from Tema Youth.
The 23-year-old is now a free player after the status committee of the Ghana Football Association declared him a free agent.
Sources say Hearts of Oak have courted the player with a move in the second transfer window next month likely to happen.
The Premier League Board has confirmed the second transfer window will open from December 10 2011 to 7 January, 2012.
