Free State States coach Luc Eymeal has bemoaned Ghanaian striker Mohammed Anas' attitude towards training.

Since featuring for the Ea Lla Koto in the Nedbank Cup quarter final win over second-tier side Ubuntu Cape Town, Anas has fallen down the pecking order after failing to convince coach Eymeal with his performances.

The Ghanaian forward has since been warming the bench and missed subsequent games against Kaizer Chiefs, Golden Arrows and Celtics.

Coach Eymeal has expressed his worry about the display of the former Maritzburg United forward.

“Attitude at training and also how many chances I’ve given him,” Eymael said when asked about Anas’s absence.

“Training is not good enough for me and also when he’s on the pitch he’s not always taking his chances,” he added of the former Maritzburg United hitman, who has scored six goals and provided two assists in 22 games in all competitions this season.

The player was on the bench when his side eliminated Kaizer Chiefs from the Nedbank Cup on Saturday, a game which saw the home fans invading the pitch after the defeat.
