French-born Ghanaian pair of Dennis Appiah and Grejohn Kyei will come face to face in the French Ligue 1 on Saturday evening as their sides clash Stade Auguste-Delaune II.

Both players are regular starters for their clubs and are expected to face each other.

Caen have hit an early season flourishing form occupying third spot on the chart while Reims are 7th from 9 games.

Appiah, born to Ghanaian parents in France, has featured regularly for Caen since the start of the season while Kyei, 20, has scored once in 7 appearances for Reims and is widely tipped to lead their attacking line.

Both players have featured for France at various youth levels - Kyei sat on the bench for France's U21 side in their 2-0 triumph over Ukraine during the international break.

The Ghana FA is yet to approach any of the two players for a nationality switch.
