Frosinone coach Roberto Stellone is proud of his men after the vital win over Empoli.

Stellone admitted his players were clinical and that his team got the best out of the game after Daniel Ciofani bagged a brace in Tuscany.

“I am proud of my team after these three points we got away from home,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“We were clinical with our chances and picked up the maximum against a great team.

“It’s a win that gives us morale, but there is still a long way to go.

“We knew this season would be very hard, we’ll have to fight until the end if we want to avoid relegation.

“For the past two years we always played and won in the same way, attacking our opponents, but in the last period we changed our way of playing, being more defensive.

“We changed and are doing better defensively.

“Daniel Ciofani is fundamental and he is proving to be at a Serie A standard,” he concluded.
