Frustrated AC Horoya General Manager Mbaye Toure leaves Ghana for Guinea in dejection over Patrick Razak transfer

Published on: 19 February 2018

General Manager of AC Horoya Mbaye Toure will leave Ghana for Guinea tomorrow after Hearts of Oak officials refused to meet him over their transfer request for winger Patrick Razak.

Toure, who has been in Ghana for close to three weeks, is leaving in dejection and disappointment following the refusal of the Hearts of Oak board to discuss the transfer.

The determined young man who has been lodging at the Alisa Hotel in Accra for the past three weeks sees no light at the end of the tunnel as several attempts to get the leadership of Hearts to discuss the deal have been fruitless.

With his hotel bills shooting up and no sign of achieving his goal, Toure will finally bid farewell to Ghana and return to his country.

Toure was heavily stunned when Hearts officials resorted to playing hide and seek with him after tabling an official bid of $80,000 for the winger.

Despite several visits to the Hearts secretariat to meet the club officials upon invitation by a board member, Toure was only told the same story anytime he turns up at the office of the Phobians with excuses that the board is yet to meet over the issue.

The frustrated, dejected and disappointed Toure will leave Ghana on Tuesday after an unforgettable experience especially when Hearts of Oak failed to respond to AC Horoya’s official transfer request.

The Guinean giants tabled an initial offer of $60,000 for Razak and topped it up with an additional $20,000 for the player but Hearts of Oak refused to respond to their request.
