Fulham slap in bid to sign Ghanaian striker Schlupp
Jeffrey Schlupp is wanted by Fulham

Struggling English Premier League side Fulham have made a bid for Leicester City's Ghana striker Jeffrey Schlupp, MTNFootball.com understands.

But Leicester manager Nigel Pearson has repeatedly said that he has no intention of selling any player considered to be key to their promotion push.

Schlupp’s versatility has made him a target of some elite division sides in England.

The 21-year-old can play as left-back, on the flank and lead the attack.

He has made 16 appearances for the Npower Championship side and scored one goal.

Schlupp was born in Hamburg, Germany but has featured for Ghana in an international friendly against Gabon in November, 2011.
