The draw for the African qualifiers to the 2018 FIFA World Cup finals was conducted on Friday with some interesting pairings. 

Group B contains three qualifiers who played at the last World Cup finals in Brazil.

Tunisia seem to have been handed a plum draw in Group A alongside Libya, DR Congo and Guinea.

African champions Ivory Coast host were handed kind draw in Group C alongsideGabon, Mali and Morocco.

Group A: Tunisia, Libya, DR Congo, Guinea

Group B: Zambia, Cameroon, Algeria, Nigeria

Group C: Gabon, Mali, Ivory Coast, Morocco

Group D: Senegal, South Africa, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde

Group E: Ghana, Congo, Egypt, Uganda
