Galatasaray in pole position to sign Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng

AC Milan’s pursuit of former midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has taken a blow after reports emerge that Galatasaray are in pole position for the Ghanaian.

The fiery attacking midfielder was suspended indefinitely from German club Schalke 04, even though his contract runs for two more years, in the aftermath of a lacklustre defeat to FC Koln in May that left Die Knappen teetering on the brink of Europa League qualification.

Now set for a move, the Rossoneri are keen on bringing Boateng back to Milan and yet it is the Turkish giants Galatasaray who are the team most likely to secure the 28-year-old’s signature, according to Gazzetta TV.

Boateng enjoyed a successful spell at the San Siro from 2010 to 2013, picking up a Scudetto as well as the Supercoppa Italiana title before leaving for the Bundesliga outfit in a €10 million deal.
