Udinese and Genoa have signed a co-ownership deal for Ghana defender Masahudu Alhassan.

The 20-year-old’s economic rights will now be shared on a 50-50 basis by the two Serie-A clubs.

The deal is however unclear on where the Ghana international would be playing his club football when his loan deal at Novara expires.

Alhassan was part of the Black Stars team that finished fourth at the last Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

He was however not called into the Ghana team for next year’s Nations Cup in South Africa.
