Genoa coach slams Juventus' Ghanaian midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah

Genoa coach Luigi De Canio has slammed Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah claiming he dived to deceive the referee during their clash on Sunday.

The Serie A Champions were trailing 1-0 when the Ghanaian came off the bench after 55 minutes but eventually went onto to win 3-1 and continue their perfect start to the season.

However, Asamoah's time on the pitch wasn't without incident and in the 75th minute he took a tumble in the area that resulted in his side winning a questionable penalty.

De Canio believes the episode cast a negative light on the match and sarcastically applauded the former Udinese man's actions.

"Compliments to Asamoah, he really is a born actor," De Canio said.

Asamoah went on to seal victory for Juventus as they run away with the victory.
