Vice President of the Ghana Football Association has promised Ghanaian football populace that 2017/18 Premier League will commence soon.
The nation's football governing body and Great Olympics are locked in a legal tussle which has foiled the start of the 2017/18 season.
But according to Afriyie, his outfit is working fervently to resolve the issue as quickly as possible for the league to kick-start.
“I want to assure everyone that we are doing all we can to start the league soon. At the moment we are dealing with issues pertaining to law courts and that we have to be careful, hence the delay."
“But we are making headway as a football organization and we should announce a new date for the start of the league soon”, he added.
