The former Middlesbrough enforcer has officially signed for the Terengganu based club and becomes Peter Butler's first signing.

Veteran combative midfielder, George Boateng has signed for T-Team and thus becoming new coach Peter Butler's first signing.

The former Dutch international was unveiled to the T-Team fans in a press a conference held in Terengganu on Sunday afternoon.

Boateng spent the majority of his career in the Premier League with the likes of Coventry City, Middlesbrough, and Aston Villa.

He made a total of 5 appearances for Championship side Nottingham Forest last season and scored 1 goal.

The veteran also revealed to Sports247, "Money is not everything to me. Butler knows what I am capable of and that is why I am here."

The capture of Boateng and the appointment of Peter Butler signal T-Team's intent in challenging for the Malaysian Super League next season after a largely disappointing finish under Yunus Alif.
