Head coach of Liberty Professionals George Lamptey has hit hard at Ghanaian referees insisting they have results of matches in their pockets even before kickoff.

George Lamptey again describe the worrisome performance of referees as ‘nonsense’ .

The Scientific Soccer lads managed to hold Berekum Chelsea to a 1-1 draw game at the Berekum golden city park in their week 23 fixture.

But the Liberty gaffer who think his side should have won the game felt center Referee Latif Adaari ‘s decisions on the field of play were poor.

Speaking after the game, the former Accra Great Olympics and Hearts of Oak player wants match officials to be fair and balance during games.

“It was a nice game but I must say the referee failed to stamp his authority on the game especially in the first half,” George Lamptey said. “Let us all play football, let us do that “.

“These days we are playing now is just like a referee-control-coach-league with referee blowing nonsense. That’s what we saw,” he added.
