Ghana youth Baba Abdul Rahman has spoken about Gerald Asamoah’s role as a father to him at German outfit Greuther Furth.

The 18-year-old joined the Cloverleaves this summer after excelling for Ghana Premier League champions Asante Kotoko last season.

The promising left-back has been receiving career guidance from the Ghanian-born ex-Germany international to settle down at his first European club.

Asamoah, Greuther Furth's oldest player at 33, will hand tips to Rahman to survive in the Bundesliga having played for Schalke 04 and St Pauli.

Rahman has played five matches for the club in pre-season and ready for competition in the top-flight.
