Gerard Nus says he will jump at another opportunity to be part of Ghana’s coaching staff for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.

The renowned video analyst was part of Avram Grant’s backroom staff when the Black Stars reached the final of the last tournament in Equatorial Guinea in the penalty shoot-out defeat to Ivory Coast.

Nus has since not been part of the national team set-up but says his services are available if contacted by the Ghana FA.

"I will like it, but that will obviously depend on the GFA being interested in me. If we agree with everything, hopefully yes,” the Spaniard told Goal.com in an interview.

Nus has a rich CV as a match analyst and one of the brains behind Efficiency Match, an App for iPad oriented to coaches.

He worked at Brighton and Hove Albion in the English Championship as the Head of Academy Coaching before leaving via mutual consent in January of 2013.

Nus worked alongside compatriot Rafael Benitez at Liverpool FC as a part of the reserve coaching staff.
