German-based defender Philemon Ofosu-Ayeh will arrive in Ghana on Monday night ahead of Ghana’s 2018 World Cup double-header against Comoros.

Ofosu Ayeh, who plays for Bundesliga 11 side Eintracht Braunschweig, will touch base at the Kotoka International airport tonight to join the rest of his colleagues to continue preparations ahead of the first leg tie in Moroni.

The 23-year-old earns his second international call-up after impressing heavily during the Black Stars friendly against Canada last month.

The highly-rated right-back is expected to fight for the right-back position which has been held by Harrison Afful in recent years.

He has been in top form for the Bundesliga II side where he has made eight appearances for the fifth-placed team after 13 matches.

Ofosu-Ayeh was born to Ghanaian father and a German mother.

He came close to playing for Ghana at the 2011 African Youth Championship in South Africa but delays in the issuance of his Ghanaian passport cost him.
