German-born star Phil Ofosu-Ayeh chasing first official game for Ghana ahead of Comoros tie

Ghana defender Philemon Ofosu-Ayeh will be chasing his first official game for his native country when they take on Comoros in a 2018 World Cup qualifier on Friday.

The 23-year-old, who plays for German side Eintracht Braunschweig, earns his second international call-up for the crucial game in Moroni.

The highly-rated right-back will need to work his sucks off to play in his first official game for the West Africans.

He marked his debut during Ghana’s international friendly against Canada last month.

The former VFR Aalen talented defender is hugely considered as an outsider to make the starting line line-up  but having excelled heavily in his debut, coach Avram Grant could take a gamble by given him some game time.

The Black Stars are currently in Moroni ahead of the game on Friday.

The return leg takes place on Tuesday November 17 in Ghana’s second largest city, Kumasi
