German side Augsburg find replacement for Baba Rahman as Ghana defender nears Chelsea switch
Philipp Max is set to replace Baba Rahman at Augsburg

German Bundesliga side Augsburg have shown strong intentions to sell Ghana defender Baba Rahman to Chelsea after reaching agreement with Karlsruhe defender Philipp Max. 

Augsburg are planning to splash €12 million out of their expected sale amount of Baba Rahman to Chelsea.

Baba's agent has confirmed Chelsea have tabled a â‚¬25 million bid to sign the Real Madrid and AS Roma target subject to Augsburg's agreement.

The former Asante Kotoko and Dreams FC defender will earn a Â£27,000 wage if he completes the move.
