German lower division side Hansa Rostock are hoping to retain the service of Ghanaian-German footballer Denis-Danso Weidlich.

Rostock are looking for new replacements during the summer transfer window but have resolved to keep hold of their talented Ghanaian midfielder.

Manager Andreas Bergmann tested the 27-year-old in the heart of midfield and he significantly convinced many of his ability during their 2-2 against Stuttgarter Kickers.

“He is fast and good on the ball, he brings good fit quality in midfield,” he said

“We are looking at keeping him at the club”
