Mr Predictor brings you all the predictions for the upcoming matches

Hi everyone, my name is Mr. Predictor, your resident betting tipster - your expert who brings you all the accurate tips to help you bet on the weekend's matches. This weekend we are going to the Camp Nou for a cracker in La Liga and on Sunday we look at the Milan derby to wrap up a great weekend of football. Let’s see if I can win us all some cash this weekend.

Barcelona v Atletico Madrid - Saturday 30 January - La Liga

This game could potentially be a title decider in this year’s La Liga. Barcelona are flying high at the moment with their superstars scoring with incredible ease. Their home record in the league speaks for itself: ten wins and one draw. Atletico have the best defence in La Liga this season and if one team can cause an upset in the Camp Nou it is the Colchoneros. They have won four of their last five La Liga away games and they have kept a clean sheet in all four wins. I do believe though that Barcelona have too much firepower and they will get the three points.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Barcelona 2 v 1 Atletico Madrid

Crystal Palace v Stoke City - Saturday 30 January - FA Cup

After a great start to the season, Crystal Palace have lost a bit of momentum. They lost 3-0 at home against Chelsea and 4-0 at Manchester City recently. This FA Cup match might be a good opportunity for the Eagles to get back on track. Stoke had to deal with a tough schedule in January and their form has been inconsistent. They drew with Arsenal a couple of weeks ago and with Marko Arnautovic, Bojan and Ibrahim Affelay they can cause trouble to anyone. Both teams will have a lot of interest in this competition and I can see a spectacular draw today.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Crystal Palace 2 v 2 Stoke City

Arsenal v Burnley - Saturday 30 January - FA Cup

Arsenal is looking very solid at the moment and they showed at Liverpool and Stoke that they can battle for points away from home when they need to. The addition of Petr Cech has brought serenity and stability at the back, and with players like Alexis Sanchez coming back from injury, things are looking up. Burnley are also having a great season as they are fighting for promotion to the Premier League. They will come into this game with some confidence as they have won their last three away games. I still fancy Arsenal though.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Arsenal 2 v 0 Burnley

Saint-Etienne v PSG - Sunday 31 January - Ligue 1

Another week, another win for PSG? The Parisians are cruising in Ligue 1 with a gigantic lead over their nearest rival and it’s only a matter of time before they can celebrate a sixth league title. Their opponent Saint-Etienne are doing well this season and they are fighting for a Champions League spot. They are unbeaten at home in their last five league games with three wins and two draws. But their record against Paris is dreadful. PSG have won the last eight games between the two teams and their last defeat at Geoffroy-Guichard dates back to 2008! I can see a pulsating draw this time around.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Saint-Etienne 1 v 1 PSG

AC Milan v Inter Milan - Sunday 31 January - Serie A

Regardless of their positions in the league, a Milan derby remains an iconic fixture in the Italian Serie A. This season Inter are contenders for the Scudetto and AC Milan are not doing too badly, but they are still below their usual standards. The Rossoneri are still a very inconsistent team. In their last five home games they have two wins, two draws and one defeat. Inter on the other hand have been rock steady away from the San Siro in Serie A, with three wins, one draw and one defeat in their last five. They also have two wins, two draws and only one defeat in the last five derbies in the league. I predict a close win for Inter today.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: AC Milan 1 v 2 Inter Milan

Napoli v Empoli - Sunday 31 January - Serie A

Napoli have been a joy to watch this season and much credit must be given to their new coach Maurizio Sarri who turned the Partenopei into title contenders again. Gonzalo Higuain might be having the best season of his career and the Azzurri are unbeaten at San Paolo in Serie A, with a record of eight wins and two draws. The interesting detail in this fixture is that Empoli is the former team of Napoli coach Sarri. They are having an excellent season too as they are firmly nestled in the top ten. They are unbeaten in their last seven away games with four wins and three draws. I do believe though that Napoli will be too much to handle today.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Napoli 2 v 1 Empoli

Wolfsburg v Koln - Sunday 31 January - Bundesliga

Wolfsburg have been a disappointment in this year’s Bundesliga and the departure of their playmaker Kevin De Bruyne last summer has left a big hole in midfield. Die Wolfe ended 2015 poorly, with two defeats and one draw in December, and though they have done well to qualify for the last 16 of the Champions League, they might not play in Europe next season. Koln in the meantime are having an uninspiring season. They are stuck in mid table and they have struggled to score. Their away form has been good though with two wins, two draws and one defeat in their last five. I see them grabbing a good point at the Volkswagen Arena.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Wolfsburg 1 v 1 Koln

Bayern Munich v Hoffenheim - Sunday 31 January - Bundesliga

Bayern have been their dominant selves in the Bundesliga this season and despite Dortmund’s great efforts they seem a certainty for another title. The question at the moment is how will the team react to Pep Guardiola leaving at the end of the season? Could this affect their form? It sounds unlikely but it’s worth keeping an eye on their first games of 2016. Hoffenheim are bottom of the league and have failed to win in 15 games against Bayern. I predict a big win with Over 3.5 goals for the champions.

Mr. Predictor’s Verdict: Bayern Munich 4 v 0 Hoffenheim
