Spanish La Liga side Getafe has announced that midfielder Bernard Mensah has been invited for Ghanaââ¬â¢s matches against Congo and Rwanda next month.
A statement on the clubââ¬â¢s website read:" Bernard Mensah " BERNARD" has been invited by the Ghana team for the matches to be played against Congo and Rwanda on 1 and September 5 respectively."
The match against Congo will be played in Brazzaville as an international friendly before travelling to Kigali to face the Amavubi in a 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Mensah impressed in June when he made his competitive debut in the 7-1 thrashing of Mauritius in Ghana's opening qualifier at home.
Before that, he scored in his first match for the Black Stars in the 1-0 win over Togo in an international friendly.
Mensah is on loan at Getafe from fellow Spanish La Liga side Atletico Madrid who signed him on a five-year deal from Vitoria Guimaraes.
The 20-year-old is in line to debut for the Deep Blues on Saturday when they begin their La Liga campaign against Espanyol.
