General Manager of Asokwa Deportivo, Otuo Acheampong Sometymer has declared that the race for the executive committee membership position of the Ghana Football Association has just begun insisting that he has put in place appropriate measures to ensure he wins the election.

The renowned broadcast journalist has come out strongly that well known football administrators and owners of Division One clubs came to him to put their issues across and finally came with the decision to vie for that position and that he believes his track record will speak for itself.

"The race has just begun and everyone has some days to sell his ideas to the delegates. If they think I am good enough, fine and if they think I am not good enough, life goes on. We will do that from a journalistic point", he said.

"I believe in how we can all contribute positively to the game. I have gathered a lot of experience from various administrators and from my eighteen years experience as a journalist. So let's just wait as we have all now submitted our forms. When the D-day arrives we shall have fun".

The Ghana FA will be going to Congress later this month to elect the executive committee members to assist the already re-elected GFA president for a four year tenure of office in the administration of the state's football.
