The Vice President of the Ghana Football Association George Afriyie has advised Asante Kotoko to prepare themselves for some form of scare tactics in their return encounter of the CAF Confederation Cup against CARA Club in Congo.

The Ghanaian giants edged out CARA Club of Congo 1-0 in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.

However, the game was surrounded by referee Issah Sy's decision to award the Porcupine Warriors four penalties in the match, where they squandered three and managed to score one through substitute forward Yakubu Mohammed.

And according to Afriyie, the Reds should psyche themselves for intimidation when they enplane to Congo for the return encounter.

"Anyone who says CARA will not intimidate Kotoko is telling lies, the Congolese national team came to play in Kumasi and we treated them well," Afriyie told Asempa FM.

"When we went for the return leg, we stood at the airport for close to three hours and they delayed as without any proper reason."

"With even the behaviour they [CARA] put up in Kumasi should give Kotoko an idea, so they should prepare for the worst."

The much anticipated clash is due to come off in fortnight time.
