The much-awaited elections to executive positions of the Ghana League Clubs Association might not come off as planned.

This follows disagreements by factions of the members on the modalities fixed for the elections scheduled to take place on December 14.

According to the opposition a full audited accounts of the welfare body under the interim chairmanship of Alhaji Raji should be rendered, scrutinized and passed by the general assembly before the elections.

Also, the date fixed for the elections (December 14) is deemed unfavourable to major stakeholders; Asante Kotoko and Berekum Chelsea who will be clearing their outstanding week 11 match on that day.

The interim leadership is however yet to respond to all these concerns which means elections will go on as planned as it stands.
