Asante Kotoko advanced to the semifinals of the GHALCA G6 tournament with a hard fought 2-0 win over Ghana Premier league champions WA All Stars at the Baba Yara stadium on Monday night. The Porcupine Warriors, who are defending champions of the mini competition, put up a masterful performance to upstage the Northern Blues in the thrilling contest.
Kotoko scored through striker Obed Owusu and exciting winger Emmanuel Gyamfi.
They will face sworn rivals Hearts of Oak in the semis on Sunday.
Group B winners Aduana Stars will square off with runners up of Group A Bechem United on Saturday.
