Ghana’s Afcon opponent Botswana plays Niger in friendly

Botswana will take on Niger in an international friendly on Tuesday, understands.

The Zebras will be looking to build on Saturday’s 0-0 stalemate with Nigeria against the African minos in the Nigerian city of Niamey.

The same 23-man squad used against the Super Eagles have been maintained for this tie.

Botswana have stepped up preparations towards next year’s Africa Cup of Nations where they have been drawn in Group D alongside Ghana, Guinea and Mali.

The Zebras who were the first to qualify for the finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea are leaving no stone unturned in their pursuit to make a lasting impression in their Nations Cup debut hence the friendlies.
