Ghana winger Andre Ayew has become the first player in the English Premier League to score in his first two games since Diego Costa and Eric Dier last season.

The Ghana deputy captain continued his swashbuckling beginning of life in the English top-flight on Saturday by scoring from a trademark header in the 52nd minute as Swansea claimed their first win of the season.

Andre applied an instinctive header to a cross from Ecuador winger Jefferson Montero to record his second goal of the season. His incredible record in the league includes scoring twice from his total four effort on-target and has now netted nine times in his last 15 league games (Ligue 1 inclusive).

His goal has added him to the Premier League record books as he joins Chelsea's Diego Costa and Tottenham Hotspur center-back Eric Dier who achieved the feat last season.

The former Olympique Marseille steamroller inspired the Swans to a 2-2 draw against Chelsea in the opening day last weekend and perpetuated his form with another strike.
