Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah and his Juventus side have mathematically won this season's Serie A title after closet challengers à Roma suffered a 4-1 defeat at Catania on Sunday.
For Asamoah it will be in second straight title but for the Old Lady this is their third in a row.
Theà Bianconerià donââ¬â¢t play theirà Serieà A game until Monday night againstà Atalanta, but that is now irrelevant.
Roma needed a victory in Sicily to keep the race alive, but were humiliated 4-1 by the bottom of the table club.
Antonioà Conteââ¬â¢sà men had already won the title in 2011-12 and 2012-13, but become the firstà Juventusà team to win three consecutiveà Scudettià since the1930s.
It also means next weekendââ¬â¢s showdown between Roma andà Juventusà can be played without the pressure of a result.
This is officiallyà Juve'sà 30thà Scudetto, so they will be allowed to put a third gold star on their jerseys from now on.
The club considers it to be theirà 32nd, as two were revoked in theà Calciopoliscandal in 2004-05 and 2005-06.
