Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu's house burgled

The home of Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu was burgled over the weekend.

Robbers sweep clean his Kumasi residence at Atasomanso by taking valuable items including television sets, mobile phones, ipad, laptops and jewelleries.

The former Asante Kotoko trainer is in Ethiopia to inspect the training facilities which the Black Stars might use when they pitch camp in the second most populous nation on the African continent ahead of the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa.

“I was told about the unfortunate incident when I went to the stadium to watch our game against Berekum Arsenal,” Asante Kotoko Board member Alhaji Abu Lamine told Peace Power Sports

“He is in Ethiopia and so I called him and he confirmed the incident to me.

“The thieves made away with valuables including laptops, ipads, television set, mobile phones among others.

It is however unknown if his family were in the house when the incident took place.
