Ghana attacker Samuel Afum is drawing huge motivation for the upcoming season after meeting Uefa Champions League winning coach Ottmar Hitzfeld at Young Boys.Â
The former Bayern Munich boss who is a brand ambassador for Swiss company Laureus Switzerland, travelled to Bern to motivate Young Boys players for the coming season.
Afum, who is the leading attacker for Young Boys was chosen by the club to meet the Hitzfeld along with a team-mate and a club official.
Hitzfeld interacted with the former Ghana Premier League Golden Shoe Winner and encouraged him for the coming season.
The 22-year-old feels it was a great opportunity meeting a hero like Hitzfeld.
"He has won many trophies and he is definitely an experienced coach. He has coached big players world over and meeting him presented a greater chance for me to at least learn something," he told Ghanasoccernet.com.
Afum has resumed training after recovering from a knee surgery.
