Ghana will begin their Group C campaign at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations against Senegal on 19 January in the city of Mongomo.

The match will be played at the Mongomo Stadium which accommodates 4,000 spectators.

Senegal finished second in the qualification campaign; one point behind leaders Tunisia in Group G.

This is a repeat of their Group D clash at the 2006 Nations Cup in Egypt where the Black Stars won 1-0 in Port Said.

At the 1994 finals, Ghana were 1-0 victors over the Terranga Lions in a final Group D match which was played at the Stade Olympique de Sousse.

Four days later, the Black Stars will play an improved Bafana Bafana outfit at the same venue.

Ghana’s final Group match will be against Algeria, who were dominant in the qualifiers after topping Group B with a six point advantage.

The top two sides will progress to the quarter-finals of the tournament.

The 2015 Africa Cup of Nations will be played from 17 January to 08 February in Equatorial Guinea.
