Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has admitted he has little knowledge on China ahead of Wednesday’s international friendly.

The Black Stars will battle the Asian giants in Xi’an as they prepare for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against Malawi in September.

Caoch Appiah has called up new faces for the friendly as he assesses their strength and how they will be able to blend with the experienced old guards in the team.

While many Ghanaians are anxious to to watch the exploits of the Black Stars against the Chinese, coach Appiah says he has litte knowledge on the strength of his opponent.

“Frankly speaking, I don’t know much about the side but before the game we just watched a recent video game of them,”Appiah said

“But I believe the Chinese team is the strength of a good team.”

The former Ghana defender has dropped leading marksman Asamoah Gyan in the starting line-up and has handed first team call-ups to  debutant Frank ‘Messi’ Acheampong and Razak Nuhu.
