Ghana boss Kwesi Nyantakyi says heââ¬â¢s happy with the provisional 26-man squad for next yearââ¬â¢s African Cup of Nations.
Coach Kwesi Appiah made the announcement at a short ceremony in Accra on Thursday where he unveiled a provisional list of 26-players expected to begin pre- tournament camping in the United Arab Emirates in early January.
The major talking would be inclusion of Amidaus Professionals midfielder à Yahaya Mohammed who has gatecrashed Kwesi Appiahââ¬â¢s squad while Jordan Ayewââ¬â¢s exclusion has sparked massive debate among soccer fans in the West African giants.
But the Ghana FA chief says he is satisfied with the call-ups.
ââ¬ÅI am satisfied with the players that he has called up and weââ¬â¢ll give him all the support,â⬠Nyantakyi said
ââ¬ÅI would hope this squad will be good enough to win gold.
ââ¬ÅThe Black Stars belong to all of us and so everyone who has been called up deserve to be in the team.
ââ¬ÅOur expectations are that they go out there and make mother Ghana proud.
ââ¬ÅWe want to win gold regardless of who is in the team.ââ¬
