Botswana will play their first ever Africa Cup of Nations match against Ghana in the Gabonese city of Franceville.

The Zebras will engage the Black Stars in Group D’s opener after both sides drew each other in Saturday’s draw held in Malabo.

On paper, it should be an easy three points for the 2010 World Cup quarter finalists but Botswana’s impressive achievement as the first country to qualify for the finals ahead of Tunisia makes them no pushovers.

The historic match-up will take place in Franceville on January 24 at 17:00 local time.
