Stephen Appiah has advised to hard work to eliminate Egypt.

Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has told the Black Stars they will require extra work to eliminate Egypt in the Brazil 2014 World Cup play-offs.

Appiah believes Ghana are stronger than the Pharaohs but has advised Kwesi Appiah’s charges not to rest on their oars.

The former Fenerbahce midfielder is counting on the experienced Black Stars players to swing victory in their favour.

“If we get all our experience players together, we will surely beat the Egyptians,” Appiah said

“I think Kevin,Dede, and Essien are back now and I believe Sulley Muntari too will return to the team so we only need to work extra hard and I believe victory will be ours.”

Appiah skippered Ghana at the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany and played a bit-part role at the 2010 finals in South Africa.

At last, a real genie and a sensible person talking!! He is not bragging b4 the much… he is giving the opponent the maximal respect, whiles looking forward to our chances. Thats what a real genie does. Thanks a lot capito!! U r a real captain!!

  2. Kaylee says:

Ghana doesnt av a team but selfish sub-average individual players. Egypt will destroy Ghana. Even b4 d clash, ghanas’ key players will all get injured due to juju from the fringe players. Mark my words!!

  3. Solid snake says:

Airtel rising talent results. Zambia u17 1 ghana u17 0. So much for the boasting at junior level.

  4. PACMAN says:

Can anybody tell me a team in africa that is not afraid of THE MIGHTY GHANA BLACKSTARS at this crucial stage.
The Nigerian folks are just making nose as a results of JELOUSY & HATRED.
IN FACT,Ghana is blessed with talents and intellectual beings not to talk of FRAUDSTERS,419,BOMBINGS,BOKO HARAMS people’s like NIGERIANS.

  5. African Consciousness says:

Captain Appiah please start getting your coaching credentials. When our current Coach Appiah retires in the distant future you must be ready to take up the mantle. I do not want to hear of this Renard guy talking about coaching Ghana. You have played in some of the finest leagues in the World and you captained Ghana at the first two World Cups. All you need is the coaching license and experience. You must start preparing now, besides as a Hearts of Oak man you do not want Kotoko coaches monopolizing Ghana coaching do you? Get it together before my man Max Konadu steps in before you. Your leadership skills are indisputable.

  6. King Wise Don Fuzzy says:

I believe advice is strictly adhered to, bcos it is not just coming from an experience senior player but a former ‘fantastic’ captain of the stars. Thank U. God Help Us!

  7. @Solid snake, there was no age cheating thats why u won. Ghana cant beat Zambia on a neutro venue.

  8. Kaylee says:

Hahahaha u Ghana guys make me lol. Essien is over 40yrs though he’s claimin 30. Waris, wakaso, afful, atsu, rabiu, boye, jona mesnsah, jordan ayew, acheampong, badu, chibsah are all crap. Besides k. Asamoah and dede, others are useless black apes.

    • Papa Nkrumah says:

Wow! I’m impressed! You have really had time to do research on our players. I wonder whether Ghanaians have any idea who your players are because, quite obviously, they don’t matter.

  9. Just allow me for only 5minutes to address nigerians on this site and put the where they belong to becouse, i was born and brought up in that abominate blood sucking rejected country. Do u believe that, kiling of human beings and robbery is legalised only within that country? Do u know that, nigerians especially the igbos are struggling in milions to get Ghana Nationals? Do u know that u will be hunted like rat if u appear as nigerian in any part of the world now? Do u believe that, there is no Christianity in nigeria? Do u know that armrobbery, kinapings, ritualism, 419, useless education system, human trafiking, prostitution are the major and only works appreciated in nigeria? Do u know that, the seat of satan is situated in nigeria and, as such the major false prophets in this world come from nigeria? Do u know that, nigerian kill and eats human being daily? Do u know that, nigeria rejected peace and civilization from Ghanaians in centrius ago? I was once a student in the university of Agriculture, makurdi, benue state, and nigerians honour and surrounds me to hear a sweet and clean quality English. Do u also know that, the results from Waec office to the junior and high sec. Schools in the country are always by money? Do know that i pulled out of the university in Nigeria and quickly opted for Knust here in Kumasi? Do u know that, a single Black Star player is more than the entire super eagle team of nigeria. Do u know that obasanjo was warned and rejected by UN becouse, he made attempt to lobby for the UN seat? Do u know that, nigerians worship Kofi Annan as god becouse Ghanaians are supperior. Do u know that, nigerian rulers are always afraid of Kofi Annan becouse, they could not understand an English word spoke in UN summit in UK by Mr. Annan? It is a great opportunity for nigerians on this site to learn sens among Ghanians here.

  10. paapi says:

thanks a lot bimpeh tell these idiots nigerians.since iwas born i have never seen nigerians doing anything qualitier than ghanaians both politically sports wise and yet they open their stinking eba mouth to say bad things about us these animals can,t even control their birth rate idiots hater of ghana

  11. Kaylee says:

Daniel Kwadwo if u r not ashamed to admit that u were born and brought up in northern 9ja(HAUSA-FULANIS’ HOME), then u must b a fool. It’s no news that it’s the northerners that are dragin 9ja name 2ru the mud. They are muslems and have rejectd western education in preference to their islamic education. They said islam forbids technology and thats why u hardly see them here. All of the guys u see here are Igbos and Yorubas with other minor tribes. If u had said u were born in d south east(igbo land), south south or south west(d yorubas), i would av known what to tell u. Separate south from d north u wil realise that muslems(hausa-fulanis) are not any better than niger republic and chad. Plz tell me if a ghanaian university is among d top ten versities in africa. When ever u wanna haggle over academics, do it with an igbo or yoruba man not with d muslems(d hausa-fulanis). Hahahaha i respect kofi Annan but b4 u begin to talk trash ask ur pipl who Ato Nzeribe is. C u later or better yet, follow me on facebook

  12. Kaylee says:

    Daniel plz in what way is ghana eqaul to nigeria in education? Did u knw that of the top 100 versities in Africa that Ghana has only poorly ranked three versities representing them whyl 9ja has nine? This is how they ranked;
    93. AMADU BELLO 9ja
    88. UNIBEN 9ja
    87. COVENANT Uni 9ja
    75. UNIAGRIC ABE.. 9ja
    71. UCC ghana
    63. KWAME NKRUMA GH
    56. UNI-ILORIN 9ja
    37. UNN 9ja
    33. UNI-IBADAN 9ja
    26. UNI-GHANA
    24. UNILAG 9ja
    10. OAU 9ja..

Incase u wnt to satisfy ur foolishness and doubts make researches on the greastest african schorlars, scientists and mathematicians then u will be ashamed to see that the few ghanaians mentioned are way behind nemerous nigerians mentiond. I can go on and on, but we r here to talk about sports and nothing else. But anytime u wanna deviate, dnt u compare ur country with nigeria despite d crisis unless u r from egypt or south africa. U r too small my boy

  13. gt says:

@Daniel Kwadwo Bimpeh, ur nothing but a poky idiot. fool can u compared ur Kofi Anna to Chinua Achabe(the father of Africa literature), Wole Soyinka( the first Africa to won Nobel Prize), Emeka Anyaoku (the first and only African to be the Common Wealth Secretary General); Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iwella (the first and only African to be World Bank Managing Director).

  14. gt says:

Prof. Boutros Boutros – Ghali, an Egyptian man is the first African man to be appointed Secretary-General of the United Nations on 1 january 1992 before kofi anna. We are here to talk about sports and low minded gaynaian like Daniel Kwadwo Bimpeh is talking trash. Anyway an gaynaians is timid, senseless and stupid

  15. Zamson says:

Fuck ya’all black Ghana apes…Juju won’t save you from Egypt….
