Ghana can eliminate Egypt with hard work- Stephen Appiah
Stephen Appiah has advised to hard work to eliminate Egypt.

Former Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has told the Black Stars they will require extra work to eliminate Egypt in the Brazil 2014 World Cup play-offs.

Appiah believes Ghana are stronger than the Pharaohs but has advised Kwesi Appiah’s charges not to rest on their oars.

The former Fenerbahce midfielder is counting on the experienced Black Stars players to swing victory in their favour.

"If we get all our experience players together, we will surely beat the Egyptians,'' Appiah said

"I think Kevin,Dede, and Essien are back now and I believe Sulley Muntari too will return to the team so we only need to work extra hard and I believe victory will be ours."

Appiah skippered Ghana at the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany and played a bit-part role at the 2010 finals in South Africa.
