Asamoah Gyan has donated U$10,000 to the Black Queens to motivate them excel at this year’s All Africa Games.
The Ghana captain presented the cash to the national women’s team on Wednesday in Brazzaville where the Black Stars are camping for Saturday’s Nations Cup qualifier against Rwanda in Kigali.
Gyan has urged the Queens to punch above their weight at the Games.
The Black Queens are in a tough three-team Group comprising Cameroon, South Africa after Egypt withdrew their participation.
The 2015 All Africa Games football tournament will be held from 4 to 19 September.
