The 22-year-old female student at the centre of the Asamoah Gyan sex scandal has filed rape and sodomy charges against the Ghana captain in the latest twist to the story.Â
Sarah Kwabla's lawyer Maurice Ampaw has confirmed the complaint was made at the Domestic Violence and Victim Support Unit (DOOVSU) at the Ministry Police Station in Accra two days ago.
Gyan is said to have bedded the third-year student of Central University in February this year.
Kwabla claims she is pregnant for the Al Ain star and accused the football icon of denying he is responsible.
Gyan and his camp earlier accused the lady of blackmail.
