Ghana captain Asamoah Gyan will play under a new manager at Al Ain in the Asian Champions League on Wednesday night after Croatian tactician Zlatko Dalic was confirmed the club's new coach.

The 47-year-old will be at the dug-out as Al-Ain lock horns with two-time champions Al Ittihad in a Group C fixture of the AFC Champions League at the King Abdulaziz Sport City in Mecca.

Gyan was on the scoresheet for Al-Ain in their group opener when they managed a narrow 2-1 win over Lekhwiya last week.

Ain officials are keen to get the Pro League title-holders out of their current tatters and have appointed Dalic to has immense experienced under his belt after coaching in the Arabian Peninsula for over five seasons.

Ain have not been in the best of shapes in domestic competition as they have dropped to a lowly 8th place on the Pro League table but Gyan has kept his scoring form as he has netted 18 times in 19 league games and tops the goal-king chart.

However, despite their under-performance in the league, Ain are hoping to impress in continental football and the Black Stars captain is expected to be at the center of their performance.
