Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu is confident they will excel at the African Nations Championship as they kick off their campaign on Monday afternoon in the clash against Congo in the tournament in South Africa.
The Local Black Stars bossà remains cheerful and positive about the expectations Ghanaians have of his team at the ongoing competition reserved for home-based players.
Ghana plays first in Group C with Congo at the Free State Stadium.
Kick-off is at 3pm GMT.
The competition is apparently one of the biggest challenges heââ¬â¢s been confronted with in his coaching career.
The team had their last major work out late Sunday afternoon ahead of Monday's match against the Congolese.
Ahead of the match, Coach Maxwell Konadu and his players believe that they would deliver.

A member of the team, goalkeeper Isaac Amoako shared his thoughts on the Congo clash and how the competition has gone so far.
ââ¬ÅWe have adequately prepared and I am sure we are going to perform to expectation. We would have to go all out. It won't be easy but I am sure we can do thatâ⬠said the Kotoko goalie.
ââ¬ÅI have been impressed. I think the competition is tough. The matches I have seen have been competitive. I believe Ghana would have to do more than the others have done so as to be taken seriousâ⬠he added.
ââ¬ÅI must admit that the seriousness of the other teams has been remarkable. We will do more than that. We are here for serious business. We will not be intimidated by anything. We have prepared well and God willing, we are going to give our best to make Ghanaians proudâ⬠ended Amoako.
