Local Black Stars coach Konadu calls 22 players for Libya friendly

Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu has invited 22 home-based players to prepare for an upcoming friendly against Libya.

Asante Kotoko and Ebusua Dwarfs are with the highest quota of players called up from the Ghana Premier League into the latest Black Stars squad.

Foli Adade, Francis Morton and Richard Gadze  are the three players from Dwarfs while Kotoko trio Kwabena Adusei, Michael Akuffu and Michael Helegbe were also named in the squad.

Aduana Stars and Berekum Chelsea follow in that order with two players called from their stables in Stephen Adams, Godfred Saka and Jackson Owusu and Jordan Opoku respectively.

Hearts of Oak’s Moro Abubakar also makes the squad as well as King Faisal’s Suleimana Mohammed.

The 22-man squad will begin residential camping in Obuasi for ahead of an international friendly match against Libya to be played on August 30 in Tunisia.
