Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu facing selection headache ahead of Guinea clash
Konadu has to decide on which players to start with in the match

Ghana's caretaker coach Maxwell Konadu  is facing a tough decision on which players to start in their clash against Guinea in a crucial 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier tonight.

A fitness boost, some suspensions and the blistering form of France-based striker Jordan Ayew have conspired to present selection problems for the Black Stars coach.

With Evain centre back fully fit for the match in Casablanca he is now available for selection as a first team starter for the Black Stars.

The defender suffered a slight knock in his match for his French club last week  but now that he has fully recovered and responded which means the coach must consider him for selection as first choice in centre-back.

This means newboy Kwabena Adusei is unlikely to start the match as Awal Mohammed is considered more experienced in that area.

Another big headache for the coach is the left wing which already has stiff competition with Kwadwo Asamoah Mubarak Wakaso, Andre Ayew and Christian Atsu all capable of playing in the same position.

The coach must now decide whether to throw Greuther Furth youngster Baba Abdul Rahman at the deep end or play utility player Jeffery Schlupp at the left-back position.

Another challenge for the coach is who to partner striker Asamoah Gyan upfront with both likely candidates Jordan Ayew and Majeed Waris in excellent shape.

Ayew is the best bet after improving in the French league and showing verve in Black Stars training.

Despite it presenting selection challenges for the coach, it bodes well for the Black Stars as the best of the best will be selected to help Ghana to the much-needed win.
