Ghana coach Maxwell Konadu says his charges are conditioned for the CHAN final after being over-stretched in their semi-final clash.

The Local Black Stars played more than 50 minutes with ten for against Nigeria’s Super Eagles and advanced after a grueling 120 minutes of football.

Defender Kwabena Adusei picked up a two yellow cards and was marched off at the Free State Stadium.

Konadu admits his side had to play above themselves but says they are ready for the final against Libya.

“Fatigue might have taken its toll but we are ready for the final. We want to win this one for Ghanaians and for our South Africans fans,” the mild-mannered Konadu said.

“If we win during regulation time, fine but if we are stretched into extra-time, it is still fine with us. We are ready for any circumstances.”

Ghana were runners-up at the inaugural tournament in 2009 when they lost 2-0 to DR Congo.
